At Hoover's Healthy Homes, we believe that having clean air is crucial for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Here is a quick reference guide to help you better understand the levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), PM2.5, CO2, and other important air quality indicators

Quick Reference

Humidity

-Stable humidity under 55%

-ideally between 45% and 50%​

​

PM2.5 (Particles 2.5 microns in size and less)

-Ideally under 1 mg/m^3 to 0 mg/m^3.​

-Average of less than 5 mg/m^3. 

​

TVOC's (Total Volatile Organic Compounds)

-Average of 125 parts per billion (ppb) is ideal

-Average of 220 ppb is the limit of health

​

Carbon Dioxide (C02)

-650 parts per million (ppm) peak is ideal

-800 (ppm) peak is the healthy limit
